Journal Prompt 11 - 15

We are reading the events in Freak the Mighty from Max's point of view (First Person Point of view), and he does NOT want his father to get out of prison, much less even see his father again.  Do you think there are prisoners who should be able ot see their kids?  Is it possible for someone who's committed a serious crime to change and become a better person?  Has Kenny Kane become a better person?  Does he have a right to see his son?  Is he a good role model for Max?  Do you think Max's mind has been "poisoned" and he's been led to believe his father is a bad person?  Explain in your blog post.
