Tomorrow, Friday, November 15th, the Third Grade will attend morning Mass in the Mission Church at 8:00. Students will meet in the Third Grade classroom at 7:50 to put away their backpacks and then walk over to the Mission together. Please plan to bring your child to school early so that Third Grade can attend Mass on time! Parents are welcome to join us.

I am working with the students to use Studies Weekly as a resource to answer the questions, but not to copy the answers directly from the text.We discussed the answers to the questions in class and practiced paraphrasing meaningful answers. I am providing public notes of their answers here so that you can tell if your child is on track.
1. We celebrate cultural traditions like birthdays and weddings with food, music and activities. These memories link members of a communitytogether.
2. It is important to study history to see how things change over time and not make the same mistakes in the future.
3. Anne Hutchinson is a national hero who showed courage in standing up for her religious beliefs.
