All About Mrs. Wondra

                                                               Welcome!

My name is Sue Wondra and I am the Kindergarten teacher here at St. John's. I will be beginning my 19th year here at St. John's and have taught 15 previous years at Holy Cross Catholic School. All of my teaching years have been in Catholic Schools and most in Kindergarten. I love it here and in Catholic Schools and wouldn't be anywhere else.... and Kindergarten is my true passion! My husband Joe and I live outside of New Prague along our puppy, Abbey. Joe is a captain on the airbus for Delta Airlines. We have 3 beautiful adult daughters. Jennifer is my oldest is a graduate from University of Minnesota, Duluth with a major in Biology. She is working for Beckman Coulter in Chaska. Jennifer lives in New Prague with her husband Nick Zurn. They were married October, 2020.  Anna, my middle daughter, is a  graduate of  the University of St. Thomas and majored in  Elementary Education. She married James Ryburn in July, 2021 and they live in Apple Valley, where Anna teaches 1st grade at East Lake Elementary. Emilee, my youngest is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas. She majored in social work with minors in Catholic Studies and Spanish. Emilee is just finished grad school and started her first social work job at Aris in Woodbury. She is married to Peter Thompson in December of 2023.  In our free time we love to camp, travel and watch movies.  I love to garden and read too! I look forward to an exciting year with your child!
