Courses Currently Teaching: Chemistry, Honors Chemistry 1 and Honors Chemistry 2

Every child of God is given spiritual gifts. Teaching is a gift God has entrusted me with to bring His Creation into a classroom full of students who probably think Chemistry is going to be awful! I try to make learning fun, engaging, and as "hands on" as safely possible. Yes, math is involved. Yes, research is involved. Yes, it's going to be hard. But, YES, I hope they will have a renewed idea of how awesome science can be when they take one of my classes! I want them to be challenged to show them that they CAN do it! My goal for your juniors and seniors is for them to be prepared for a college level science course. After all, it's just around the corner!

As science department head, I want all students, K-12, to develop a love of learning science. I am continually in touch with all science teachers so that we can work together to develop new ideas, use new technology and brainstorm together to best bring science to life in the indoor and outdoor classroom.
