Earlier this year, we went to Cub Scouts meeting. It was for the Bear Scouts group, but several other groups showed up. We taught them the history of robotics, the uses for robotics, and then we let them play with and program four Lego NXT robots that we brought with us. The kids had a blast. This was to help them get a belt loop for robotics.
We helped some of the students in our regular robotics class, they do TCEA competition. We helped them program and and with building ideas. Some of us went with them to their competition to help when their teammates couldn't attend because of school/church conflicts.
The school had a grant from the teacher's Association that was delivered to our school's librarian in September. No one was helping her with setting up the 3-D printer. So, we jumped in and set it up for her and found the software to use the 3-D printer with.
This website was help put together with the help of several people from our school.
