#1 Chapter in Virginia

Strasburg FFA participated in the National Chapter Award Program. Chapters can be recognized in three award areas: Growing Leaders, Building Communities, and Strengthening Agriculture. Strasburg FFA’s accomplishments are as follows:

~Received a gold rating for the Superior Chapter Award ~Northern Area Winner – Growing Leaders

~Northern Area Winner – Senior Chapter

~Growing Leaders – State Winner

~ State Winner – Senior Division, #1 Chapter in the State of Virginia

~Was recognized as a 3-star chapter in Virginia and will be judged at the national level in October

The Strasburg FFA Chapter was also recognized for other accomplishments, including the following:

~Agricultural Sales Proficiency Award Winner – Shelby Smith

~Three FFA members received their State FFA Degree:

o Amber Gessner

o Aidan Keller

o Anna Rankin

~Three FFA members were recognized, and will receive their American FFA Degrees at National Convention in October

o Ethan Gochenour

o Kenzie Kline

o Hannah Orndorff
