Workpackages
The MatProFuture project had three work packages focusing on the development of advanced technologies in New Sheet Forming, Precision Forging, Integrated Joining & Forming, Novel Spinning and New Hydro Forming. Research collaboration, knowledge transfer, dissemination and networking were the key elements of the project to achieve research and technological advancement.
The overall project objectives were:
To carry out collaborative research and joint activities for stimulated creativity and innovative solutions in identified areas of materials processing technologies;
To exchange experienced researchers and early stage researchers for knowledge transfer and new skills development;
To disseminate high quality research through the organisation of research seminars and high quality journal and conference publications;
To establish research networks and to support long-term research collaborations.
