In the academic year 2020-21, I am teaching MAS413/6431 Analytical Dynamics and Classical Field Theory (semester 1), MAS222 Differential Equations (semester 2) and MAS140/151/152/153/156/161 First Year Engineering Mathematics. All modules use Blackboard.

My research interests lie in classical general relativity and quantum field theory in curved space-time. I am particularly interested in black holes.

Together with Xavier Calmet (University of Sussex) and Bernard Carr (Queen Mary, University of London), I wrote the book "Quantum Black Holes", published by Springer in 2014.
