Unfortunately we don't own the online rights to the DBQs. When they were purchased, we bought the hard copy license only.
As the DBQ company offers the online material for purchase, they have specifically said that they are not to be put online--this includes google classroom, email, etc as the format can't be changed and once scanned as PDFs, the format is changed.
They can be shown via a doc cam/computer camera.
There are some e-learning resources below however!
DBQs are required pieces of curriculum in grades 4, 5, and 6 for all Brevard County Public Schools. Below you will find the required DBQs for each grade level. For more information regarding training or resources, please contact Christina Uttlinger in the Office of Elementary Programs.
In regard to using a scoring rubric for the writing portion of the DBQs, and in an effort to be more cohesive when scoring writing among content areas, new rubrics have been created. These rubrics are more in line with FSA style writing, and are similar to how ATUs are currently being scored. Please feel free to use them as an option when scoring your student's DBQ essays.
