About your assignments:
We explore a new technique each class and turn in 1 photo using it. In-class photos are usually 5 points each, due the day of the class.
We turn in 2 photos per week for homework, due each Wednesday--any time. The assignments are in your Google Classroom.
10 points for each homework photo--late photos can earn no more than 8 points. Scoring guide is at the bottom of this page.
I will leave comments & score on the Google classroom assignment. I try to grade photos by Friday.
Cell phones: When you're taking the photos outside of school, you can use a camera-phone or any other device that takes photos.
If you need to bring that device to school, you and a parent need to sign the Cell Phone User Agreement.
For every photo assignment:
The photo was taken by you with camera, iPad, or phone for this class.
No vacation photos, unless the vacation took place while you are taking this class. No photos of photos. No photos of pictures or paintings. No photos taken from a car. No photos taken in a location that is considered private. No color-altering effects (such as sepia, black & white, edge blur) unless required for the assignment.
Uploaded to Google Classroom on the due date (any time). See the screenshots on right, or About Photo Class slideshow.
Not using a phone? How to upload from a memory card from your camera.
Take 5-10 photos for each assignment.
Choose the best one of your 5-10 to turn in on Google Classroom.
If you're having trouble getting to the Google drive from your phone or camera, email Ms McCormack. Talk to Ms McC about getting the photos to your Google Classroom.
All your photos are available for Ms McC to see on your computer or camera.
