Parents’/Guardians’ Rights Notification

Parents/Guardians in the Seymour Community School District have the right to learn about the following qualifications of their child’s teacher/paraprofessional and baccalaureate/graduate certification/degree. You may also request the qualifications of an instructional paraprofessional who serves your child in a Title 1 program. Parents/Guardians may request this information from the office of the Superintendent by calling Mollie Banks at 641-898-2291, sending a letter of request to the Office of the Superintendents, 100^th South Park, Seymour, IA 52590.

The Seymour Community School District ensures that parents/guardians will be notified in writing if their child has been assigned, or has been taught by a teacher for four consecutive weeks by a teacher who is not considered highly qualified.
