Homework and Classroom Policies

Homework:

    • Generally, students will have nightly assignments. These help students review, apply, and integrate what has been learned in class and to help students prepare for the next class session. In addition, unfinished classroom practice may be assigned as homework.
    • Homework assignments are usually, but not always, worth 2 points each and are graded for completion. Students will receive 2 points if every problem is attempted AND all work is shown. If the assignment is not done, it's incomplete or no work is show, students will receive 0 points.
    • 2nd Semester: Students will receive a zero for assignments that are not turned in by the end of the day it is due.
    • To receive full credit for homework, students must complete ALL questions, and show ALL work.

Classroom Expectations

    • Students will be expected to
  1. Be Prompt and enter the classroom quietly.
  2. Be Prepared with all materials, completed homework, and ready to learn.
  3. Be Productive by MAXIMIZING learning time, staying on task, following directions, and always doing YOUR best work.
