About Mrs. Ownby

I grew up here in Sevier Co. attending Pittman Center Elementary and Gatlinburg Pittman High School. I've been married to my high school sweetheart Jared, for 17 wonderful years. We have four amazing, fun children- Ella Claire (9), Judson (7), and Aubrey (4), and Allie (2)! Jared is also a teacher at Pigeon Forge Middle School.

I taught 3rd and 4th grades in Sevierville and in North Carolina before staying home with my kids for a while. I'm very happy to have been back in the classroom for several years. I am currently working on a Master's Degree in Technology and Education

When I'm not at school I enjoy having fun with my family, running, DIY home projects, all things food, and traveling.
