September 15-19, 2025

Eighth Grade Science:  On Thursday, students will do a Review Sheet and Enrichment Activity to Chapter 1 "Introduction to Matter" Lesson 1 "Describing Matter", from the textbook. For homework, students will begin to study for the quiz on Chapter 1 "Introduction to Matter" Lesson 1 "Describing Matter", from the textbook which will be on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. On Friday, students will finish their Project Abstracts for their 2025-2026 Controlled Variable Science Experiment PowerPoint Presentations. For homework, students will finish their Project Abstracts for their 2025-2026 Controlled Variable Science Experiment PowerPoint Presentation, for a homework project grade.

Seventh Grade Science:  On Thursday, I will discuss in detail, "What Is the Cell Theory?", from Chapter 1 "Introduction to Cells" Lesson 1 "Discovering Cells", from the textbook. For homework, students will study their notes on "The Cell Theory".  On Friday, students will continue to work on their Project Abstracts for their 2025-2026 Controlled Variable Science Experiment PowerPoint Presentations. Students will continue to the same for homework. They are due next Friday, September 26, 2025.

Sixth Grade Science:  On Thursday, I will discuss in detail, "How Do Geologists Learn About Earth's Interior", from Chapter 1 Lesson 2 "Earth's Interior", from the textbook. For homework, students will study their notes on "Earth's Interior". On Friday, I will begin to discuss, "What Are the Features of Earth's Crust, Mantle, and Core?", from Chapter 1 Lesson 2 "Earth's Interior", from the textbook. For homework, students will reread Chapter 1 Lesson 2 "Earth's Interior" found on pages 10-17, in the textbook. 

Eighth Grade Religion:  On Thursday, students will do a practice quiz on the entire "Prayer to the Holy Spirit". The quiz will be tomorrow, I will also finish reviewing in detail for the Chapter 1 Test on "Confirmed in the Spirit", from the "Confirmed in the Spirit" textbook which will be this Tuesday, September 23, 2025. For homework, students will study for the quiz tomorrow on the "Prayer to the Holy Spirit". Students will also continue to study for the Chapter 1 Test on "Confirmed in the Spirit", from the "Confirmed in the Spirit" textbook which will be this Tuesday, September 23, 2025. On Friday, students will take the quiz on the entire "Prayer to the Holy Spirit. Students will also research and write two Saint Reports on Saint Peter and Saint Linus for their 2025-2026 Saint Report Projects. For homework, students will finish researching and writing two Saint Reports on Saint Peter and Saint Linus, for their 2025-2026 Saint Report Projects, for a homework project grade.
