Studying Strategies 

Strategies to improve in Spanish class

• Come to PAW for extra help, especially if grammar clinics are being offered

• Ask questions in class when something is confusing or you keep getting the wrong answers. Write down questions to ask in class that come up when you are reviewing content at home

• Ask the teacher for extra practice

• Ask the teacher to work with you during class activities ie. worksheets or find a seat close to the teacher so you can easily ask questions 

• Commit 20 min a day 4 days a week to studying Spanish, when working on the content write down questions to ask the teacher if you don't understand something 

• Re-do classwork at home and make sure you don't make the same mistakes again

• Use class time appropriately, stay on task

• Check class calendar daily, review the linked activities and content at home with a friend or family member
