Extended Study Period (ESP) is a continuation of instructional time. In the La Costa Canyon High School Science Department
- ESP is teacher directed.
- Students will be expected to utilize the entire ESP time with work from their current science class.
- Students will work on laboratories, reviews, enrichment, classwork, independent practice, or read content related material.
- Students may be able to make-up short assessments.
- Teachers may use ESP to conduct whole class reviews, work with student teams, and/or work with individual students.
- ESP is insufficient for most laboratory and exam make-ups.
