Reading

Engage in two reading events each day for at least 20 minutes each and record on your reading log. See the homepage (Home) for what constitutes a reading event.

Language Arts

1. Study vocabulary (Get someone to dictate the definition and you say the word word that matches it). For an extra challenge, have the words dictated and you provide the definitions.
2. N/A - I did not remember to send kids home with the Reading Notebook which contains all the language arts activities associated with this week's anchor text. Oh well. My apologies.

Spelling

1. Study list words every other day.
2. If you have graph paper, make your own word find one day.
3. If you did not finish the R-controlled word sort, complete it on another day.

Math

Complete a multiplication fact page or go on XtraMath whenever you want. However, DO NOT do it right before or after you complete the enVision math skill pages listed below. Your brain may need a break from the numbers.

Week 1

Monday: The odd #s on page 515

Tuesday: The odd #s on page 516

Wednesday: Read page 518 and do pages 519 -520 with help from an adult or older sibling.

Thursday: Pages 521-522

Friday: Page 524. Play the game on page 523 if there is someone willing to play it with you.

Week 2

Monday: The even #s on pages 525-526

Tuesday: The even #s on pages 527 -528

Wednesday: Pages 529-530

Thursday: Pages 531-532
