Grading Policies

Standards Referenced Grading

Students begin each unit with a pre-assessment. This determines the skills the students will work on during the unit. For each standard, the student is assessed using a rubric that is aligned to the district proficiency scale.

Student progress will be based on classwork, homework, projects, quizzes, and tests.

All assignments are aligned to a grade level standard and are evaluated using the proficiency scale:

Please check Power School regularly to receive updates on your child's progress. Note that the descriptions of each assignment provide detail into which parts of the standard are being addressed.
