Welcome back to the 2024-25 School Year!

Music Class:

3rd, 4th and 5th Graders will be playing recorders in music class this year!  Information will be coming home if you need to purchase a recorder.

All School Music Performances:

Pleasant Lane-Tuesday, Feb 25, 2025

6:00PM Grades K, 1 and 2 (Doors will open at 5:45 PM)

7:00PM Grades 3, 4 and 5 (Students should arrive at 6:45 PM)

Park View-Tuesday, March 4, 2025 (during the school day)

4th and 5th Grade Chorus:

Pleasant Lane Chorus meets one morning each week (Mondays) from 7:45-8:30 AM in the music room starting on Sept 23,  2024

Park View Chorus meets one morning each week (Tuesdays) from 7:45-8:30 AM in the music room starting on Sept 24, 2024

D44 Pancake Breakfast-Saturday, April 12, 2025 Glenn Westlake Middle School 7:30AM-noon, we will perform at this event, but students do not need to be there the whole time, performance time, TBA

D44 Chorus Festival-Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Glenbard East High School in Biester Auditorium at 7:00 PM

A little bit about me...

2024-25 marks my 26th year of teaching!  

I received my Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, and my Masters of Music Education from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago.

I love spending time with my family: my husband Jon,  two daughters-Sarah (Senior in High School) and Emily (Freshman in High School), our cats: Bo Peep and Pizzicato. In my free time, I play in the viola section of the Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra and in a string quartet-Celestial Strings.   In the evenings and weekends, I am usually at a music event or a softball game or tennis match for one of my kids.
