Music Class:

3rd, 4th and 5th Graders will be playing recorders in music class this year!  Information will be coming home if you need to purchase a recorder.

Pleasant Lane Chorus meets one morning each week (Mondays) from 7:45-8:30 AM in the music room starting TBA

Park View Chorus meets one morning each week (Tuesdays) from 7:45-8:30 AM in the music room starting on TBA

A little bit about me...

2025-26 marks my 27th year of teaching!  

I received my Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, and my Masters of Music Education from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago.

I love spending time with my family: my husband Jon and two daughters-Sarah (Freshman at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, studying violin performance) and Emily (Sophomore in High School).  We also have two cats: Bo Peep and Pizzicato. In my free time, I play in the viola section of the Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra and in a string quartet-Celestial Strings.   In the evenings and weekends, I am usually at a music event or tennis match.
