About Me

Hi! My name is Stephanie Smith. This is my eighth year at SCJN and I am thrilled to be here! This is my thirteenth year teaching and my eleventh year in first grade! I went to Cabrini College and graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education K-6. 

I grew up in Havertown, and my husband Chris and I bought a house only ten houses from my parents. We have 2 kids, Kyle is eight and Brynlee is six. In my free time I love to craft for my small business Brynlee's Boutique, watch the Phillies, read, bake, shop, do jigsaw puzzles, and spend time with my family & friends! I love everything Disney and the Phillies! 

One of the things I love most about first graders is that they come to school with such enthusiasm! They are always beaming with excitement to learn something new. They are also very helpful and friendly to their classmates and teachers. Their love for school is infectious and makes coming to school everyday fun and exciting!
