Sobre mi - About me

¡Hola! My name is Maritza. Nelson. This is  is my nineteen year working at SCJN school!   I am a passionate Spanish teacher. I love making language learning both engaging and culturally enriching. My goal each year is to guide my students through vocabulary, grammar and conversational opportunities when learning the language.

I am the  proud mother of two grown up children; Caroline and James. Besides teaching Spanish I love spending time with family and friends, going for walks and visiting parks. I also enjoy working in the garden.

The start of a new school year is always an exciting time for me and I look forward to meeting my new students and reuniting with the rest of students that have been with me since first grade!
