Booking and payment

Applications will only be accepted using the on-line application form.

Places on the course are allocated to applicants at the sole discretion of the Course Director. This is generally done in order of application however priority will be given to Sheffield trainees first. If you subsequently don't apply for the next sitting of the OSCE/SOEs your offer of a place may be withdrawn.

Notification of a place or otherwise will be made by e-mail according to the schedule on the “Application Timetable” page of the website.

Payment must be made within 7 working days of an offer of a place or you will forfeit your place.

Cancellation policy

Notice of cancellation must be given in writing by e-mail to coursedirector@scipy.org.uk at least 10 working days prior to the start of the course.

If an applicant on the reserve list takes your place on the course then you will qualify for a refund. If we are unable to fill your place then you will not receive a refund.

All refunds are made at the discretion of the Course Director and may be subject to the deduction of an administration fee.

Applicants who cancel less than ten working days before the course will not be entitled to a refund except in extraordinary circumstances where it will be at the discretion of the Course Director.

The SCIPY Course organisers reserve the right to amend or cancel this course. Should the course be cancelled a full refund of the registration fee will be made. The Course organisers do not accept liability for any expenses incurred by the candidate as a result of amendment or cancellation.

Sharing of information

The SCIP course is identical to the SCIPY course. We may share your name with the organisers of the SCIP course in order to avoid offering places to the same applicants. Please do not apply to more than one course.

In the unlikely event that one of the other courses is under subscribed, we will pass your details onto the relevant course organiser who may be in a position to offer you a place on their course.
