Confidence Level Applet

Using four different confidence levels (70%, 90%, 95% or 99%) the applet simulates random samples and calculates appropriate confidence intervals. The applet is intended to show the interpretation of the confidence level.

i.e. If we were to construct many 70% confidence intervals, about 70% of the confidence intervals will contain the true parameter we are estimating.

Note: When the confidence level is changed the proportion resets.
