Hello 2nd Grade students and families! Here are some extra activities you can do while we are missing you from school! I would be more than happy to meet with any of you virtually to say hi or read a book! I hope you are all doing well and I can't wait to see you again soon!

Use this as a starting point to write your Friend Wanted Poster. Think about the type of a friend you want, what qualities are you looking for? Why are those qualities important to you?
Listen to the story "Enemy Pie" by Derek Munson. It may help you think about what parts of friendship are important!
Listen to Mrs. Martens read "Happy Right Now" by Julie Berry.
Write or draw someone or something that makes you happy. Think about things you are grateful for. Write those down too! Find things that can make you happy right now, even if you aren't feeling so happy.
