Passes to the library are required for each student from 7:30 am - 2:15 pm.

Passes are not needed to use the library before 7:30 am or after 2:15 pm.

* Students are expected to treat everyone with respect, and to be productively occupied while in the library.

* Each student must present their individual pass and sign-in upon arrival, and sign-out, and have their pass initialed when they leave.

* Fiction titles - 3 weeks

* Graphic novels - 1 week

* Non-fiction titles - 1 week

* Magazines - in library use - back copies are available to students

* Students must bring books in to the library to have them renewed.

* Due dates are stamped in the back of each item when it is checked out, or renewed.

* Lost/Overdue items result in a fee placed in Infinite Campus. Fees will be removed if the item(s) are returned in usable condition.

* Students who have multiple overdue books, or fines due, may not be allowed to check out additional books until the obligation is cleared. Library staff will be happy to place a temporary hold on an item to allow the student time to return overdue books or take care of a fee.

* Students may log-in to the library catalog through the web page at home, or at school,  and view their patron history, including: books on loan, books previously on loan, fines due, fines paid, etc.  To enable this feature students first need to see a librarian in the library to set-up their log-in password.

* Students may also log-in to their account to place a hold on a book that they have located in the catalog, but is currently checked out by another student.

* Students may not renew the books that they have on loan, remotely.  However, they may use the remote log-in to identify those books that they have out, then bring them in to the library to be renewed.

* The library has Chromebooks that students may use while in the library. These devices allow for online research, and work on documents, such as papers and presentations.

* Photocopying and B&W printing are free in the library for students doing school assignments.

* Students are encouraged to use the copy machines when using reference books for research.  Reference books are not routinely checked-out due to their higher replacement costs.

* Color printing is available on a per page fee, based on the amount of color toner used (.50  per page). Students who need color printing for an assignment, but do not have the money, will normally be allowed to print, and pay us later.
