Writing Types & Terms

There are different types of graded assignments in any/all the classes you'll take with me; click on the links at the end to get a template for a Type 3 or Type 4 piece:

Level I: Type I, a quiz grade This level is used for writing conferences, graded quick-writes or brief responses.

Level II: Type 2, a quiz grade This level is used for quizzes.

Level II: Type 3 (double quiz value or, on occasion, more) Include TARGETS on all T. 3sà These are the basis for the grade, the essentials of the assignment. A T. 3 should always be TYPED and will lose points if not typed.

Level III: Type 4 (triple quiz value or more)

This is where you really show your stuff. An assignment at this level is a TYPE 3 that has been conferenced, developed more richly, and revised. It is a chance to deliver your highest quality work.
