Birthdays are special and I am excited to celebrate them this year with your children. In our classroom we will not be celebrating with edible birthday treats. Each child’s birthday will be called on the intercom over morning announcements and will have some special surprises in the classroom.

Another idea to celebrate your child’s birthday would be to have your child bring in their favorite picture book for me to read to the class in honor of their special day. If you do not have a copy at home I can try to find it in our classroom library or our school library.
