All About Me

I've always been excited to learn about the world around me. Whether it's being pulled into an exciting novel, exploring the natural world during an afternoon walk, or discovering something new through playing with my kids. Life is filled with opportunities to grow, and teaching provides me a means of sharing these moments with young, enthusiastic minds.

I have been married since 2006 and have an eleven year-old daughter, Willa, who is filled with the curiosity and enthusiasm of a budding sixth grader. We also have our son, Beckett, now an energetic third-grader. Both my husband and I are educators, so they are slated for a lifetime of museum trips, library excursions, and learning adventures...

There have been many settings in which I have taught: a domestic violence shelter in Los Angeles, a parochial school in San Francisco, as well as public schools in Boston and Nashua. I received my B.A. from Villanova Univerisity and my M.Ed from the Lynch School of Education at Boston College.

I enjoy music, travel, reading, the arts, and being outdoors. I love to laugh with friends, and find the beauty in the small moments. My family is important to me, and I enjoy any time that we can all get together.
