This quote from Winnie-the-Pooh speaks to the mindset that is important for learning! In third grade I encourage my students to have a Growth Mindset, which means that they believe they can train their brains to learn and do anything. The classroom community is like a team in which everyone needs to do their part and work together to meet learning goals. This requires students to take risks and learn from their mistakes. Together, we will build a positive classroom community in which the children can feel safe to take these learning risks.!
