Department of Chemical Engineering

The Department of Chemical Engineering at SASTRA was established in the year 1994. Later in 2002, the Department of Biotechnology, Bioengineering, and Bioinformatics joined as a part of the school, governing to the formation of the School of Chemical and Biotechnology in the year 2003.

The school has distinguished faculty members with rich experience in academia, industry, and research, always wanting to see their students excel in the global front. Interaction among students with faculty members is highly encouraged and is reflected in the excellence of our students in various competitive examinations, technical presentations, and research activities.
