Mr. Venkatesan. A is a highly experienced professional in the field of process engineering and management. He holds a Master's degree in Plant Design from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy), and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Puducherry Technological University. Currently, Mr. Venkatesan serves as a Process Engineer Manager at Dow, a leading global materials science company that delivers innovative products and solutions in various industries such as packaging, infrastructure, mobility, and consumer care. Dow is renowned for its commitment to sustainability and scientific expertise. At Dow, Mr. Venkatesan has been working since July 2018, where he oversees process engineering activities, ensuring optimal performance and implementing process improvements. Dow’s focus on providing advanced material science technologies aligns well with Mr. Venkatesan’s experience in optimizing operations and enhancing efficiency. Prior to joining Dow, he spent over 11 years at Petrofac, a prominent international service provider to the oil and gas industry. At Petrofac, he held the position of Deputy Manager Process, where he managed process engineering tasks, optimized operations, and ensured compliance with industry standards.

Dr. D. Sivaprahasam is a distinguished scientist with a B.E. in Metallurgical Engineering from NIT Tiruchirappalli, an M.Tech from IIT Bombay, and a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from IISc Bangalore. With over 25 years of experience, he has held various roles at ARCI and currently leads research in automotive energy materials. His expertise lies in materials science, particularly in nanostructured materials, thermoelectric generators (TEGs), and powder metallurgy. He has spearheaded projects like the development of ultra-high toughness cobalt steel, nanostructured ferrous alloys, and high-efficiency TEGs for automotive waste heat recovery. His work on TEGs, funded by TATA STEEL and SERB, has led to the creation of functional modules capable of generating power from exhaust heat. Dr. Sivaprahasam holds patents for innovative methods, including producing ZnO nanorods and fabricating thermoelectric modules. He has authored numerous publications, including book chapters and journal papers, focusing on nanocrystalline materials, spark plasma sintering, and automotive waste heat recovery. His contributions have advanced the field of materials engineering, particularly in sustainable energy solutions. Currently, he is working on phase-change materials for thermal energy storage, aiming to develop highperformance composites for energy management.
