Q: I have already installed DWSIM on my laptop but my version is not the latest. Do I need to update it?
A: Yes, you are advised to have the latest DWSIM version 6.4.4. You can click on the Update button when you launch DWSIM to update to the latest version.

Q: Which branches are eligible to attend the workshop?
A: Chemical engineering and associate departments of chemical engineering are eligible to attend the workshop. Knowledge of process calculations, fluid mechanics, heat transfer and solution thermodynamics is required to attend the workshop.
Q: I am currently pursuing my second year of B. Tech Chemical Engineering. Am I eligible to attend the workshop?
A: No, students of final and pre-final year alone are eligible to attend the workshop as they would have completed the required course works.
Registration:
Q: I want to register for the other event as well as for the workshop. Do I need to register separately in two forms for the events?
A: No, you can register for the events and workshop once in the same form and pay sum for both the events together appropriately.
Q: Does the registration fees differ for an IIChE and a Non-IIChE member?
A: No, the registration fee is same for both IIChE and Non-IIChE members,
Attending the Workshop:
Q: Where the workshop conducted?
A: Workshop will be conducted in Bioinformatics lab or JVC Auditorium, SCBT based on the number of participants.
Q: Will there be any practice session during the workshop?
A: Yes, you will be practicing the taught concepts side-by-side as the workshop progresses.
