Welcome to Ms. Provins' class! This year I will be teaching 6th grade Mathematics, 6th grade Accelerated Math, and 7th grade Science from room 206. This is my 19th year of teaching and my ninth year teaching in the San Diego Unified School District. I have a BA degree in Mathematics from San Diego State University, as well as a single subject teaching credential in Math and supplemental in General Science. In May 2020, I earned my Master's degree in Applied Teaching in secondary math & science from SDSU. This amazing school was attended by both of my sons. One of my sons graduated from Patrick Henry High School; so my family lives in the neighborhood. Besides teaching math, my hobbies include baking, ballroom dancing, hiking, and playing handbells. I look forward to working with you this year!
