About Your Teacher

Hello!

This is my 25th year teaching in SDUSD, my 21st at Wangenheim Middle School.  I grew up in San Diego, attended San Diego City Schools, and I am thrilled to be teaching in my hometown.  Music has always been a part of my life and I knew at an early age that I would become a music educator.  I absolutely love my job and enjoy sharing my passion for music with my students. 

My personal interests, other than music, include spending time outdoors in the sun.  I am definitely a summer person and love being at the beach, riding my bike, hiking, and camping with my family.  I also enjoy reading, both for myself and to my kids!
