Hours:
The library is open to students from 7:20 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday throughout the school year.
Library Passes:
Any time a student needs to use the library during school hours, they must have a pass signed by their teacher. The library staff reserves the right to ask students on passes to leave the premises for any reason such as disruptive or inappropriate behavior, overcrowding, etc.
Printing:
Students may print using Media Center 3050. If you need to print in color share the document with the Media Center staff.
Available Supplies:
To borrow: staplers, tape, scissors, rulers, glue sticks, colored pencils, highlighters, and markers.
Checking Out Materials:
Loan Periods:
Regular borrowing:
Due dates are four weeks from checkout for the general collection. Book fines are charged at 25¢ for every school day that they are late. Fines do not accumulate over weekends and holidays.
Overdues/fines:
It is expected that student return checked out materials before they are due, however, sometimes due dates are missed. Notification of overdue materials is sent via email every Monday. Students should plan on either returning or renewing books as the due date nears. Even if students do not have the book with them, they can stop by the library to renew. Renewing will stop the fines from growing; therefore, if you have a book or if you think there is an error you should never ignore it. Stop by the library and talk to a library staff member as soon as possible. Sometimes it is simply a case where a book has been shelved without being checked in. The best way to solve these situations is to alert the library staff so that the matter can be looked into.
Computer Access:
Students need to know their username and password to use the computers in the library. This information is given to each student on their first semester class schedule. If a student has misplaced or has forgotten their password, they can request it at the reference desk.
