Reading: We will be ending our CKLA reading of the Wind and the Willows and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. We will be starting our new unit on Animal Characteristics !!!!!
Reading Skills:
oral reading, comprehension skills, making predictions, vocabulary, identifying spelling sounds and phonetic patterns and alternatives in words, animal research, observating and reflective writing and sharing, nouns, verbs and adjectives,

Math skills for this week:
fluently add with sums to 1,000, making sense of story problems and preserve in solving them, demonstrate and understand that the digits in a 3 digit number represent amounts of hundreds, tens and ones, rounding numbers to the nearest ten, hundred and thousand, utilize strategies to add and subtracts with sums and minuends to 1,000, and solving two step story problems using addition and subtraction, identifying place value, and rounding sums and differences in mathematical problems

identify ways they can answer God's call in today's world to make the world a place where Jesus' presence is felt, identify the life and accomplishments of St. Francis of Assisi and St. Clare, name ways that they can see the world as Jesus would
