About Me

My name is Mrs. Olmanson.  I have been teaching at St. Michael Catholic School since 1999.  I teach Art to students in grades K-8.

I grew up in Webster, MN and attended New Prague schools.  I attended Mankato State University, where I earned my K-12 Visual Arts license.  I also earned my Learning Technology certificate through the University of St. Thomas Murray Cohort and I have taken photography classes at South Central College in North Mankato.

When I am not teaching or taking classes, I enjoy baking, cooking, traveling, practicing/developing my photography skills, sewing, playing hockey, flying drones, fishing, and chainsaw carving.  In addition, I enjoy spending time with my family and volunteering with the American Red Cross, Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, and Let's Go Fishing.
