Academic Expectations
All students are expected to complete all assignments on time to the best of their abilities. Adjustments can be made if agreed to by both the student, parent and Teacher.
Grading Policy
Grading is based on two forms of evaluations or methods. The two forms are Formative and Summative. Formative evaluations are 30% of the grade. They include classwork, homework and boardwork/class participation. Summative evaluations are 70% of the grade. They include quizzes and tests. Each test is worth 3 quizzes. For each major topic there will be at least 3 quizzes and 1 test. If a student wishes to redo a quiz or test, they must schedule a time to do so before school, after school or during RTI.
