Snack Information
Birthdays are special and your child may bring a fun snack to share with the class on their special day, even if it is not their snack week.
Food that comes from home for sharing among the children must be either whole fruits or commercially prepared packaged foods in factory-sealed containers.
Here are some healthy snack suggestions:
Cheese
Summer Sausage
Crackers
Pretzels
Dry Cereal (No sugar coating please)
Popcorn
Muffins
Quick Breads
Carrots
Celery (with or without peanut butter or cream cheese)
Fruit
Nuts (if there are not nut allergies in the class)
Yogurt
Granola Bars or Breakfast Bars
Pudding Cups
Flour Tortillas with peanut butter
String Cheese
Graham Crackers
Please do not send any food items with chocolate in it unless it is a birthday or a half birthday. Your child will also be given a choice of milk, water or 100% juice daily.
Because our time is limited, please send snacks that can be easily served. We do have access to a refrigerator.
