Request for Support Process

• To make a request for support to the Tai Tokerau South RTLB cluster please speak with your Liaison RTLB, your school Special Education Needs Coordinator (SENCo) or Learning Support Coordinator (LSC)

• The Liaison RTLB will conduct some initial observations and data gathering to develop an understanding of the current concerns.

• As a result of a collaborative conversation with the school's Learning Support team and classroom teacher the next steps are identified. For example the following may be identified as beneficial:

  • 1. Further in-school support

    2. RTLB support for an individual student

    3. RTLB support for a group of students or class

    4. RTLB support for whole of school intervention or plan
