Important attendance information for Thursday & Friday

  • Students are required to check in each period. 

  • Any student who does not attend class will be marked Remote Absent (RA). 

  • Check-in’s are not required for Study Hall and Guided Study Hall.

  • Check-in’s are required for Advisory, Learning Labs, Writing Centers, Math Labs, and Science Labs.

  • In order to excuse an absence, parents must contact the main office.

  • There are NO COHORTS Thursday or Friday. All students are to attend their White day classes.

9:00-12:00:   Online Classes 

  • 9:00-9:40 Period 1/2  (Period 1:  9-9:20, Period 2:  9:20-9:40)

  • 9:45-10:25  Period 3/4 (period 3 9:45 - 10:05. Period 4 10:05 -10:25)

  • 10:30-11:10  Period 6/7 (Period 6:  10:30-10:50, Period 7: 10:50-11:10)

  • 11:15- 11:55  Period 8/9 (Period 8: 11:15-11:35, Period 9: 11:35-11:55) 

  • 12:00-12:15:  Advisory

  • 12:00-12:30:  Lunch

  • 12:30-2:30:  Office hours:  independent work time or teacher & student meetings


**Due to the early release day, advisory will only be held on Thursday.

**Friday’s schedule ends at 11:55am for the scheduled early release day.

Attention all Region 10 Students:

FHS students will not be attending Region 10 in person until Tuesday January, 19th.  Students that attend Region 10 on Thursday and Friday should check in remotely with their Region 10 teachers at the regularly scheduled class time.

Tuesday, 1/26 - PSAT for 10th & 11th graders - Day ends @ 11:30am - Grades 9 & 12 work remote.

Please be aware of the most up to date travel guidelines for the State of Maine.


Effective Monday November 16th, New Hampshire and Vermont are the only exempt states on the State of Maine travel list.  If you travel to either of these states, students may return to school without any further action.


If your student is traveling to a non-exempt state they must either quarantine for 14 days upon returning to Maine or provide a negative COVID swab.

Add/Drop for the Spring Semester will begin on Monday, January 11 and end on Friday, February 5. 

There are two ways for students to make a change to their schedule:

1. Google Form (Will be sent out Monday, January 11)

2. By appointment with your counselor (See links to make an appt. below)

Students need to remain in their classes until their schedules have been changed and that change is reflected in PowerSchool.

Food Pantry & Free Meals 

FHS has a food pantry full of non-perishable food and toiletries.  It's open to all students, no questions asked.  If students want to access it, check with Mrs. Bennell, room 309 or the Guidance Department.
