Welcome to high school!
This year is probably going to be insane and I totally admit it! BUT I can promise to support you all while we try and figure out this thing called full in-person learning during a once in a century pandemic whilst also trying not to get covid- or as I like to call it, FIPLDAOIACPWATNTGC that pretty much sums it up huh? The important thing to know is we are going to go slow and focus a whole lot on life skills and science skills before throwing you to the physics wolves. Sounds fun right? Don't worry- we've got this, or at least we will have it eventually:)

Sound waves generate heat when they travel and are absorbed by materials.
You can yell at your soup to warm it.

However, sound waves carry minimal energy, so the effect would not be noticeable. You’re better off with a stove or a microwave.
One reason Mrs. Boggs LOVES Physics!
