Welcome to Health Services
Our school Health Office staff form partnerships with parents and students and act as a link to other school and community resources to make the school year successful.
We encourage students to make healthy life choices and offer a variety of up to date and reliable health information as needed. Our goal is to help ensure that students are healthy and ready to learn!
We are responsible for monitoring state required immunizations, completing required annual vision and hearing screenings (for grades pre-k, kinder, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 12 and on an as needed basis), continuous monitoring of the overall health and safety of the school community as an extension of our state public health system, sending outside referrals as needed, management of routine and emergency medications, management of care for students with chronic health conditions, daily first aid and emergency care.
It is important to note, per state guidelines and for the safety of all students, any type of medication in school requires appropriate permissions and planning. Contact one of our nurses to discuss. (Forms are available to view/print in the tabs to the left. )
802 Smiles, Dental Days!
Through the 802 Smiles program, our dental hygienist, Michael Messina, RDH, will be returning in the fall of 2025! If your child is not already registered for the program, please click on your child's school listed below to complete the electronic registration:
Once your child is registered, they will continue in the program unless you contact your health office to request de-registration.
*Please note, there is not cost to any family for these services but if your child is covered by Dr. Dynsaur, please include your child's policy number on the registration paperwork because it does help with our funding for this program. Thank you!
Annual Well-Child Visits
The America Association of Pediatrics strongly recommends that your child visit their primary care provider for a well-child visit once a year. A well-visit is important because it allows the provider to focus on a comprehensive assessment of your child's overall health, growth, and development.
