Meet Your Teacher

Hello Families and Friends!

 Welcome to first grade!   I am so excited to be your teacher!   We are going to learn in a fun, age appropriate, hands on environment where children come first.  Learning Standards will be learned through many project based lessons, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math), centers, songs, movement, drama,  language arts, math, science, health and social studies.  To view Ohio's Learning Standards, visit Ohio Department of Education's website.

 I graduated from Ashland University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Kindergarten Endorsement. In 2009, I earned a Master of Education in Literacy Degree with a Reading Endorsement.  In 2020, I received the Master Teacher designation from the Ohio Department of Education.
