Q:  What time does the library open?

A: 750 AM every day

Q:  Can I borrow a loaner Chromebook or charger? 

A: We do NOT loan chargers. We have 5 Chromebooks for online testing needs ONLY. These need to be returned at the end of the period. You may NOT keep it the whole day. Forgetting repeatedly will result in parent contact.

Q:  How many books can I check out at once?

A:  You can check out 5 physical books, as well as 3 digital books through MackinVia. Log in to Classlink>Library Resources>MackinVIA.

Q:  What happens if I have lost a book or it is overdue?

A:  If your book is overdue, just turn it in. There are no fines. If you have lost the book, it becomes an obligation that you have to pay for. If you are unable to pay for it, come talk to us and we will work something out.

Q: How do I Reserve a book (place on hold)?

A: First, you can only reserve a book if it is currently checked

out to another student. Assuming it is checked out, you can add your 

name to the pink hold sheet at the desk or you can log in to the 

catalog to place Reserve it. 

Once the book is available, you will receive a pink card from your LA 

teacher letting you know to come check it out. 

Q: How do I get a replacement ID card?

A: Bring exactly $5.00 to the library for a new ID card

Q: How can I come to the library during class on my own?

A: Without your class, you will need a pass with your name on it 

signed by the teacher to come to the library.

Q: Can I eat and drink in the library?

NO food can be eaten in the library, including candy. You may drink 

water only in a sealed water bottle. No cups with flimsy lids.
