About Me:
I LOVE science!! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!! I am going into my 25th year of teaching, and I still LOVE IT! After graduating from UTSA with a BS in Biology and from University of the Incarnate Word with an MA in Biology, I have taught everything from 7th grade life science to AP environmental science. This is my 16th year at McNeil!
Not surprisingly, my hobbies include camping, hiking, boating, gardening and exploring nature in general. I am also a citizen scientist for the LCRA and a Habitat Steward for NWF. I enjoy spending time with my husband, kids and dobermutt. We all love the great outdoors.
Current Project--Training to earn credit that will allow me to take students into Millipede Annex Cave in the Cave Courtyard at McNeil for exploration and research. Click here more information about McNeil Caves. (not live)
