Spanish 1

Spanish I is an introduction to the Spanish Language and upper Spanish language courses. In this class students will begin to understand the target language through the skills of listening, reading, writing, and speaking at the beginning level. Students will be able to communicate in Spanish using interpersonal, interpretive, and presentational communication modes with simple verbal and written responses. Basic grammar structures, vocabulary, and culture will be introduced to students through readings, audio, videos, and authentic materials.

Learning a second language is a valuable skill that requires effort, dedication, and patience, but it is also a very rewarding experience in our global society. Please talk to me if there is a concern or issue. I’m here to facilitate your learning.
