Jazz IV

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Academy Jazz IV is an intensive study of the principles, techniques, and vocabulary of jazz dance. The student will demonstrate learning at an advanced level, including mastery of jazz dance techniques, aesthetic recognition, utilization of the creative process, and historical knowledge and appreciation. Concerts in the community and class performances are required. In order to achieve the goals of the course, the dancer must strive to conduct themselves in a respectful way both towards the instructor and the other dancers. Exemplary conduct is expected at all times. Self-discipline, confidence, dedication and humbleness are extremely necessary for all participants.

Intersection Information:

Intersection is our fall dance class performance at the Performing Arts Center on October 28th, 2017 at 1PM, 4PM & 7PM.

Ballet III-IV- 7:50pm

Jazz II 7:50-8:40pm
