About The Teacher

     My name is Denise Johnson and I am a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist who will be providing dyslexia services for your child. I am really excited to be working with both you and your child. I graduated from Midwestern State University with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies and a M.Ed. in Reading instruction and Curriculum. I completed a Dyslexia Therapist Preparation Program through Neuhaus Education Center which allowed me to become a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT).  I am also a Wilson Level 1 Dyslexia Practitioner. 

      I have taught for twenty seven years and have been a part of the Round Rock ISD family for the past twenty four years.

     I have a wonderful husband named Lance and two beautiful daughters. Hannah just got married this summer so we added an awesome son in law to our family. They currently live in Pittsburg, PA.  Cailyn is a senior this year so I know this year will fly by quickly. 

     In our spare time, we like to go camping and experience the outdoors, especially the beach. :-) I visit Port A every summer.
